If you have students who are no longer are going to be part of your class, you can choose to delete them by following these steps - 

• Click on your class in the left menu 
• Click Manage icon on the top of your class page 
• Click Students
• Click on the circle left of any student 
• The multi-select window will open 
• Select the students whom you want to delete 
• Click Remove from Class
