Share your room's day: posts, photos, albums and messages

Post photos and updates from your room, share albums, and message families, all from the room in Bloomz. Families see them in the same app, on their phone, in their own language.

Who this is for

Room teachers post to the rooms they teach. Directors can post to any room or to the whole center.
Parents see the posts, photos and albums of their own child's room.

Step 1 — Open your room

Select Rooms in the left rail, then your room. The room opens on Updates, the room's feed: announcements at the top, then posts, events and shared albums, newest first.

Step 2 — Choose what to share

Select Create (on a phone, the round + button). The menu groups what you can share:

Communicate: Post, Announcement (stays at the top of the feed for a while), Newsletter, Publish menu.
Planning: Poll, Form, Event, Volunteer Help, Conferences/Office Hours.
Media: Add Photos, Create Album, Upload Documents.

An Alert at the top of the menu reaches every member at once; keep it for urgent news such as an early closure.

Step 3 — Write a post with photos

Select Post. Bloomz first shows who will receive it: the room, with the number of recipients. To narrow it, use Select all parents, Select all staff or tick people. Select Next.
On Create Post, add an optional title and write your message.
Select Media, then Photo or video, and pick from your device.
Select Post. To send it later, choose Schedule first.

Step 4 — Photos and albums

Every photo shared in the room is collected on the room's Photos tab, newest day first, with Jump to date and + Photo. To group photos, choose Create → Create Album, or add to an album with Add Photos. Families get a feed post when you share an album with them.

Step 5 — Message a family

Select the envelope icon at the top right. The panel lists your conversations; select + Message to start one with a parent.

What parents see

Their child's card at the top of the home screen has the chips Today's report, Message the room and This week.
Room posts appear in Updates. Shared albums are under Album in the bottom bar.
Message the room opens a list of the family's rooms to pick who to write to.

Troubleshooting

A parent says they see nothing. Check that they have joined Bloomz and are in the right room. A parent who is still "Invited" receives nothing in the app.
Photos looks empty on a parent's phone. Ask them to open Album instead, or to look at the post in Updates.
The More menu shows Assignments or Portfolios. These are school tools that show in every room. You do not need them in a childcare room.
