Your center's website, newsletters and Smart Answers

Bloomz gives your center a public website, newsletters for families and an AI assistant that answers parents' questions on the website. You manage all three in the Slick Sites website editor.

Who this is for

Center directors and office staff who run the center's website and family newsletters.

Your website

Your public site has your center's pages, such as About, Programs, Admissions, News and Contact, with your logo and colours. Families find it on a computer or a phone, and it can link to the Bloomz app.

Edit a page

  1. Sign in to the website editor. If you do not have access yet, ask your Bloomz contact. The Dashboard shows your site under Recent Sites.
  2. Open the site. Pages lists every page and whether it is published.
  3. Open a page, change it, and publish it. View Site shows the live result.

Newsletters

  1. In the website editor, open Newsletters for your site. Choose New from template or New newsletter.
  2. Build the newsletter from blocks such as Header, Hero, Rich Text, Gallery, Announcement and Quick Links. From Bloomz blocks pull in your posts and events.
  3. Use Email preview to check it, then Send. Changes save on their own; the top bar says "All changes saved".

In the Bloomz app, the center's More menu also has Newsletters (under Communicate) with a New Newsletter button.

Smart Answers

Smart Answers is an AI assistant on your website. It answers parents' questions from documents you upload, such as your family handbook, shows where each answer came from, and passes questions it cannot answer to your staff. In the website editor, open Smart Answers and pick your site to set it up.

Troubleshooting

  • A page change does not show on the site. Check that the page is published, not only saved.
  • Parts of a page look empty when you scroll fast. Sections fade in as they come into view. Wait a moment.
  • A newsletter made in the website editor is not listed in the app's Newsletters screen. The two lists are separate today. Manage website newsletters in the website editor.
